Welcome to the 405 Squadron Association web site. Shortly after WWII members of many of the Squadrons including 405 Squadron would gather from time to time to renew old acquaintances and to reminisce about their war time experiences. This soon evolved into formal reunions and so 405 Squadron established an Association to organize these events. A number of years ago the Association went into a hiatus as war time members were dwindling and large-scale reunions had faded. In December of 2018 three former members of 405 Squadron decided to re-establish the Association with a different mandate which is to help safeguard and promote the legacy of the 405 Squadron; to enhance the historical record through contact with former serving members and their families; and to the greatest extent possible support the Squadron’s current members.

The Association is open to any military or civilian personnel who were employed on the Squadron from 1941 to the present day. There is a one-time membership fee of $25 that supports the web site and projects. Members receive an Association pin and are placed on the Association email list. War time veterans receive a free membership.
